David Arthur Morgan, 77, of Pella, died at 10:55 a.m. March 11, 2026 at Pella Comfort House.
He was born May 1, 1948 in Ottumwa to Herbert and Cecil LaRue Morgan. He married Victoria Tennyson November 21, 1966.
David attended Ottumwa High School and had worked at John Deere PDW for 30 years, retiring in 2003.
He was a member of UAW Local #79.
David enjoyed working on cars and doing yard work. He loved his cats and going to sprint car races.
He is survived by his wife, Victoria; 2 daughters, Amy (Justin) Wallace of Davenport and Connie Blackmon of Eatonton, GA; 5 grandchildren, Dustin Wallace, Chelsey Canady, Taylor Wallace, Jordon Smith and Cody Blackmon; 5 great grandchildren, Ava, Hunter, Charlotte, Samuel and Lucas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a great granddaughter, Amara Day; 4 sisters, Mary Carter, Marian Shauer, Shirley Johnson and Nancy Tuck; a brother, Herbert Morgan.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
