On January 30th, around 10:30 a.m., the Ottumwa Fire Department responded to a dryer fire at the Ottumwa Laundrette, located at 116 S. Birch Street. The fire has since been brought under control.
Motorists and pedestrians in the area are advised to use alternate routes while emergency crews remain on the scene. No injuries have been reported at this time.
