A southeast Iowa teen was arrested after police say he sexually assaulted an individual earlier this year.
18-year-old Kaiden Parker of Oskaloosa has been charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony.
According to the Oskaloosa Police Department, a female told officers that on March 29th, Parker used force to have sex with her against her will. Authorities allegedly observed two bald spots on her scalp where her hair had been pulled out.
Court records say officials interviewed multiple witnesses who confirmed to police that Parker and the victim were at the same location on the date of the alleged incident. The victim told multiple people what happened to her immediately after the assault occurred, according to court documents.
A warrant for Parker’s arrest was issued on December 1st and he was taken into custody the following day.
Parker is currently in the Mahaska County Jail and is being held without bond. He’s been ordered not to have any contact with the victim.
Parker has a preliminary hearing scheduled for December 12th.
