Falesha Lynn Smith, 36, of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Ottumwa, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2025.
A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. April 11, 2026, at First Pentecostal of God, 733 Church St., Ottumwa. Cremation has taken place. Falesha was the best TT Mom to all her nieces and nephews, they were her lifeline. She had a very special bond with her sister Desiree, they were two peas in a pod, they were always together. She will be deeply missed.
Falesha is survived by her brother Lester (Stephinie) Smith of Cedar Rapids; sisters, April Knight of Ottumwa and Desiree Smith of Cedar Rapids; parents, Nickie and Chris Cole of Cedar Rapids; uncles, James (Tina ) Knight, Shawn (Tanya) Knight, all from Ottumwa; aunts Theresa (Dennis) Sly, Misty (James) Copple, all from Ottumwa, Kristi Kaharik from Texas, special cousin/twin Wesley Sly, cousin/sister Jessica knight, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father Gary Smith Jr., stepdad Michael Songer, 6 Grandmothers, 6 Grandfathers, 4 uncles, 1 aunt, and cousin, Devonvan Goizar. All Memorials can be made to the family.
