Winter fun is officially underway as the Caldwell Ice Rink opens for the season with a brand-new chiller system, helping keep the ice ready for skating throughout much of the winter.
Thanks to fundraising efforts by the Spirit of Pella, skaters can enjoy improved ice conditions this season. Youth skate rentals are available at the Pella Community Center Office starting Friday, December 26, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Weekend rentals are also offered.
