John William Sliger (AKA Willie) ,age 67, passed away on Oct. 31st, 2025.
Willie was born on July 25th, 1957. The second son of four boys to John Sliger and Ruth (Shipmen) Sliger. He married Debrah Elam in 1977 and had two sons and a daughter; William Robert Sliger, Casey Sliger and Sharon Marie (Sliger) Bragg. They later divorced and he remarried to Renee Lynn they had a son Paul David Sliger.
Willie was a hard worker and good provider for his family. He worked in many places; Iowa meat packing plant, Vermeers and even had his own Roofing Business. Willie liked playing poker,fishing bows, mushroom hunting,shooting pool and just being outside. What he loved most was his family.
Those left to honor Willie’s memory include brothers Wayne and Larry and sister Nancy. Multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren, Nieces, 3 sons and daughter. Per Willie’s wishes, no services are planned.
