The Pekin volleyball program wrapped up its 2025 season with an end-of-the-year banquet on Wednesday, November 12th, recognizing players across all levels for their hard work, dedication, and achievements both on and off the court.
The evening celebrated a season of growth, teamwork, and perseverance, as players, coaches, and families came together to honor standout performances and academic excellence.
Varsity Awards
- Heart & Hustle: Carlie Gambell
- Best Offensive Player: Paislee Coleman
- Best Defensive Player: Payten Coleman
- Most Improved: Mya Glick
- Most Valuable Player (MVP): Paislee Coleman
In addition to their on-court success, the Varsity team earned the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award, boasting an impressive team GPA of 3.9131. The recognition highlights the athletes’ commitment to excellence in the classroom as well as their dedication on the court.
“We couldn’t be prouder of these athletes for their dedication and excellence, not only on the court, but in the classroom as well,” the program shared.
Junior Varsity (JV) Awards
- Heart & Hustle: Ashlynn Adrian
- Best Offensive Player: Mya Glick
- Best Defensive Player: Ashlynn Adrian
- Most Improved: Mya Glick
- Most Valuable Player (MVP): Bristyn Ingle
The JV squad was praised for its steady improvement throughout the season, with several players stepping up into leadership roles and preparing to make an impact at the varsity level next year.
Freshman/Sophomore (F/S) Awards
- Heart & Hustle: Bristyn Ingle
- Best Offensive Player: Fynlie Brooks
- Best Defensive Player: Autumn Coleman
- Most Improved: Aleigha Sieren
The Freshman/Sophomore group was celebrated for their energy and commitment, laying the groundwork for Pekin’s future success on the volleyball court.
All-Conference Honors
Pekin volleyball also celebrated three athletes who earned Southeast Iowa Super Conference North Division recognition for their performances this season:

- Reece Brisby – Honorable Mention All-Conference
- Carlie Gambell – Honorable Mention All-Conference
