The Pekin Panthers’ football season came to a close on Friday, October 31, with a 21-3 loss to North Linn in the round of 16 of the Class A playoffs. The Panthers wrapped up a remarkable 2025 campaign with a 9-1 record, showcasing grit, teamwork, and consistency throughout the season.
Several Pekin players earned recognition for their outstanding performances with All-District honors. District 5 unanimously voted Henry Adam and Nolan Glick as the Defensive and Offensive MVPs, respectively — highlighting their leadership and dominance on the field.
Glick, a senior, powered the Panthers’ offense with 1,393 rushing yards, 19 rushing touchdowns, 141 receiving yards, and 12 two-point conversions.
Adam, a junior, was a force on both sides of the ball, tallying 501 receiving yards, 57 tackles, 11 touchdowns, and 3 interceptions for the season.
Head Coach Klynt Weber was also named the Class A District 5 Head Coach of the Year after guiding the Panthers to another successful season and playoff appearance.
