Patrick Allen Douglas, born on February 3rd, 1953 in Albia, Iowa, passed away on October 6th, 2025. Patrick, a resident of Ottumwa, Iowa.
Patrick worked diligently as a bartender at the Keg, where his warm personality and charm resonated with his patrons. His passion for socializing and forming strong connections with people reflected his amicable spirit. Notably, Patrick was a brave medic in the 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam era, his service speaking volumes of his courage and dedication.
He is survived by siblings, Paula Jean, Geoffrey Lynn, Mark Stephen, Marie Bernadette. He is preceded in death his parents, Lyle William and Agnes Eleanor Douglas; and two brothers, Bruce and Michael Brian. His life was full of laughter, camaraderie, and love, and he will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at Sinnott Funeral Home in Ottumwa from 5-7 p.m., with family present. Memorials may be directed to Good Samaritan Society in Ottumwa.
