Above + Beyond Cancer is hosting its inaugural Beyond the Summit conference on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at the ITA Group in West Des Moines, Iowa.
This one-day event is dedicated to cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers and serves as a celebration of the organization’s 15th anniversary. The conference will feature educational sessions led by health and wellness professionals, medical researchers, and survivorship experts, as well as wellness activities and discussions on the latest cancer trends.
A keynote speaker will be announced at a later date. Founded in 2011 by Dr. Richard Deming, Above + Beyond Cancer is a nonprofit organization focused on supporting those impacted by cancer through various programs, including fitness, mindfulness, and survivorship education. The organization also offers a Hotel Program that provides free lodging for patients traveling over 50 miles for treatment, having gifted over 800 rooms in 2025.
Additionally, Above + Beyond Cancer leads transformational journeys for survivors and caregivers, including treks in Patagonia, the Appalachian Trail, and Everest Base Camp. For more information, visit aboveandbeyondcancer.org.
