William “Wilbert” Snyder, 63, of Mount Pleasant, died Sunday, July 6, 2025, at New London Specialty Care.
Wilbert was born November 9, 1961, in Mount Pleasant, the son of Gerald and Janice (Farnsworth) Snyder. He attended Mount Pleasant High School. Wilbert had a long relationship with Tammy Bruegge and they had a daughter Haley. Wilbert worked at Goodyear Hose Plant and Iowa Wesleyan College.
Wilbert is survived by his daughter Haley (Ron) McCombs of Lovilia, Iowa; four grandchildren Ronald IV, Sydney, Thomas, Luke McCombs; brother Jim (Chris) Snyder of Mount Pleasant; and brother-in-law John Feehan of Mount Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Jorene Wood, Linda Feehan and brother Gerald Snyder.
According to his wishes his body has been cremated and there will be no formal services. Memorial contributions may be made to assist his family with final expenses. The Olson-Powell Chapel & Crematory is caring for Wilbert and his family.
