Davenport residents are grappling with the aftermath of a severe storm that has left a trail of property damage and flooding across the city. As emergency crews from the police, fire department, and public works continue their response efforts, officials are urging residents to take advantage of available resources for reporting damage and seeking assistance.

For any life-threatening emergencies, the public is reminded to call 911 immediately. If you encounter downed trees obstructing roadways, please report them to Public Works at 563-326-7923.

Homeowners who have experienced damage can report it through the City of Davenport’s website. Simply visit www.davenportiowa.com/pwrs, click on “Make a service request,” and select “other / general information” to submit your request.

Additionally, if you encounter downed power lines or experience an outage, contact MidAmerican Energy at 888-427-5632 for assistance.
