Starting Monday, June 30, 2025, the northbound lane at the intersection of Jefferson Street and Second Street in Ottumwa will be closed for sewer work. While drivers will still be able to turn onto Second Street, ongoing construction near Ottumwa High School may lead to additional roadblocks in the area.
The work is expected to take about one week, weather permitting. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes and plan for potential delays.
