A rollover accident claimed the life of a Knoxville man in Marion County over the weekend.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, on October 24th at approximately 11:58 PM, a 2012 Chevy Silverado driven by Alex Killoren, 29, was traveling westbound on Highway T 17.
The accident report states that the vehicle failed to negotiate a curve, entered a ditch, and vaulted over a drainage ditch. The truck pitched over, turning in the air at least once before landing.
Killoren was pronounced dead at the scene. According to officials, Killoren was not wearing a seat beat.
The accident remains under investigation.
