William Penn University, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Davis County Softball player Lydia Barker, our 1240 AM/102.7 FM KBIZ Athlete of the Week!
The Mustangs enjoyed a 5-1 week thanks in part to the efforts of Barker at the plate and in the circle. To date, the junior is batting a team-leading .435 with six home runs and 15 RBI. Barker also has a 6-5 record as a pitcher with an ERA of 2.40 while compiling 70 strikeouts.
