Hey kids! Are you ready to embark on an exciting summer mission? We’re thrilled to announce a fun project that will put your creativity to the test and take you on adventures around our beautiful town!
Introducing News Reporter Ellis Or News Reporter Donna —your very own character who will join you on your summer escapades! Here’s how it works:
- Create Your News Reporter: First things first, swing by our office at 416 E. Main Street, Monday through Friday, between 9 AM and 5 PM, to pick up your News Reporter character.
- Take Ellis or Donna on Adventures: Once you have your News Reporter, it’s time to explore! Take them to interesting places in Ottumwa—parks, museums, or even your backyard! Snap some fun photos of your reporter enjoying the sights.
- Chronicle Your Journey: Write a little something about each place you visit with your reporter. What did you see? What did you learn? How much fun did you have? Your stories will bring your adventures to life!
- Share Your Work: After you’ve captured your adventures, send your photos and stories to dsavits@ottumwaradio.com. We’ll feature two fantastic entries every day from Monday to Friday throughout July on Ottumwaradio.com and our Ottumwa Radio Group Facebook page!
This is a great chance to unleash your imagination and show us all the cool things you can do during summer break. Whether you’re discovering hidden gems or just having a blast with friends, we can’t wait to see where News Reporters Ellis and Donna takes you!
