Terry Paul Clark, age 62, of Ottumwa, IA, passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA.
Terry was born on July 4, 1962, in Creston, IA, to Daniel and Alvena (Adkisson) Clark. He grew up attending school in Mt. Ayr, IA, and later served his country in the Army National Guard. In 1989, he was united in marriage to Ada Hair and to this union, a son, Anthony, was born. Terry and Ada later divorced.
Terry enjoyed being outdoors and fishing. He also enjoyed watching westerns and professional wrestling. He was very talented, loved working with his hands and could fix anything, especially cars. Terry enjoyed spending time with and visiting with friends, at times over card games, especially Nines and Rummy, as well as playing Yahtzee. He also enjoyed going to the Casino. Above all else, Terry’s true joy in life was spending time with his family
Terry is survived by 2 sons, Anthony (Alicia Pothoven) Clark and Terry Combs; a grandson, Rowan; a brother, Anthony (Sherry) Adkisson; 2 sisters, Lilly Clark and Mamie (Tom) Armstrong; and his companion/girlfriend of many years, Kathy Thompson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Alvena Clark.
Per Terry’s wishes, his body has been cremated and no formal services are planned.
