Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird is gearing up to unveil an exciting new initiative aimed at tackling the state’s unsolved murders. On Wednesday, April 16, 2025, she will host a press conference at the Des Moines Police Department, where she plans to announce the formation of a Cold Case Unit dedicated to cracking some of Iowa’s most perplexing cold cases.
