Freda Roselen Granneman, 93, of Ottumwa, died at 12:51 a.m. March 24, 2025 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born September 30, 1931 in Bloomfield to Clarence and Wilma Laughlin Pilcher. Freda married Howard Granneman on September 10, 1977 and he preceded her in death on January 1, 1983.
She had worked for 18 years at Good Samaritan Nursing and Rehab. She had sold Avon for 45 years.
Freda had been a member of Evangelistic Foursquare Church.
Surviving are her children, Vicky Swinscoe of San Antonio, TX, Becky (Ray) Thibodeaux of Hitchcock, TX, Kermit Allman of Eldon, Melvin Allman and Randy Allman both of Ottumwa; step-daughter, Gail Dennison of Galveston, TX; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Scotty Allman; brothers, Larry (Mary) Jones and Lonnie Jones.
Visitation will open at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 26th, at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Thursday, March 27th, at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Richard Schlotter officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
