Cynthia Kae Bain, 62, of Ottumwa, died at 6:40 p.m. February 27, 2025 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born July 25, 1962 in Ottumwa to Sonny and Dee Rigler Bain. She married Mike Bainbridge February 14, 2012.
A 1980 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Cindy worked for Alliant Energy in customer service.
She attended Zion Community Church of God. Cindy loved golfing and reading and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.
Surviving is her husband, Mike; children, Erika (Alex) Pollard of Rocky River, OH, Lindsey (Matt) Alexander of West Liberty and Ashley Bainbridge of Ottumwa; 9 grandchildren, Joseph Worsfold-Alexander, Jacob Alexander, Joshua Alexander, Ashlynne Alexander, Madelyn Alexander, Lillian Alexander, Bastian Alexander, Roselyn Alexander and Julien Alexander; her mother, Dee Bain of Ottumwa; sisters, Fonda (Dave) Stice and Brenda Radosevich both of Ottumwa; brother, David (Carrie) Bain of Ottumwa; mother-in-law, Gail Bainbridge; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father; a son, Cole Bainbridge; nephews, Chad Stice and Matt Stice; and father-in-law, Jerry Bainbridge.
Her body has been cremated. A time to celebrate her life may be held at a later date.
