Dani Landmeier, 67, of Ottumwa, died at 7:52 a.m. January 28, 2025 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
She was born April 8, 1957 in Ottumwa to Vernon and Marilyn Hawker Bedford. She married Eric Jahn Landmeier January 31, 1992.
Growing up in Eldon, Dani was a 1975 graduate of Cardinal High School. She worked for Davis Acres Care Facility in Bloomfield and for Res Care in Bloomfield and Ottumwa. Dani oversaw the memory care unit at Prairie Hills, retiring in 2019.
Dani enjoyed being outdoors, especially in the swimming pool. She enjoyed baking and cooking, listening to music, especially Elvis, attending Live After 5 and going to the casino. Most importantly, Dani loved spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband, Eric; 4 children, Carrie (Phil) Bechert of Eldon, Jared Feldmann (Krista Tracy) of Eldon, Adam Landmeier of Ottumwa and Tessa (Riley) Guest of Ottumwa; 4grandchildren, Lyssa, Larry, Mavrik and one on the way; siblings, Tim (Abbie) Bedford of Webster City, Tom (Shari) Bedford of Eldon and Vernon “Bunny” (Marjorie) Bedford of Cantril; and many additional close friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Michael Bedford and Steve Bedford.
Her body has been cremated. Services are not planned at this time.
