Mikel Lawrence Weller, 54, of Bloomfield, Iowa passed away on December 27, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on December 14, 1970 in Columbia, Missouri to Lawrence “Larry” Eugene and Sharon Kay Miller Weller. On May 29, 1999 he married Amanda Frymoyer in Bloomfield. They would later divorce.
Mike worked for American Tank and Welding in Bloomfield for many years and had been recently working at M3 in Bloomfield. He enjoyed riding dirt bikes, fishing, hunting, and learning about WWII. He also enjoyed watching football, gameshows, cooking shows, and science fiction shows and movies. He loved spending time with his family and would do anything for them.
He is survived by his daughter, Rhiannon Weller of Eldon, Iowa; two sisters, Dee (Skip) Johnson, Kathi Scott, both of Bloomfield; and aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Craig Scott; and nephew, Aaron Scott.
Mike’s wish was to be cremated with no services. A memorial has been established to his family and may be mailed to the Wagler Funeral Home at: Mike Weller Memorial, 304 W. Jefferson St., Bloomfield, Iowa 52537.
