Rebecca Renae Hanes, 54, of Centerville, died unexpectedly December 23, 2024 at her home.
She was born May 20, 1970 in Des Moines, IA to Earl W. and Lillian Renae Carruthers Hanes.
A 1988 graduate of Kearns High School in Kearns, UT, she attended University of Iowa School of Radiology. Becky worked as an x-ray technician at the hospital in Sault Ste. Marie, MI. Moving to Centerville in 2001, she worked at Mercy Hospital in Mammography.
Becky loved animals and was an advocate for cats. She was a member of Cats Connection, an organization that traps, neuters and returns feral cats. Becky’s second passion was playing pool. She also had a very giving heart, always wanting to give deserving people what they wanted.
Surviving are her parents, Earl and Renae Hanes.
Her body has been cremated. Services are not planned at this time.
