An Ottumwa man allegedly damaged an individual’s property with a machete.
29-year-old Gladwin Singeuo was charged with providing false identification, 2nd degree criminal mischief – damage $1,500 – $10,000, and 3rd degree criminal mischief – damage $750 – $1,500.
On September 29, court records say Singeuo approached a vehicle on West 4th Street. Authorities say Singueo broke out two rear windows and caused damage to the vehicle with a machete. Officers say Singeuo ran up to a business and broke out two large windows.
Singeuo was transported to the Wapello County Jail. He has a $5,000 bond and a preliminary hearing on October 18.
