According to the Ottumwa Police Department, a second man was arrested on Wednesday concerning the theft of $6,000 worth of tools.
66-year-old Robert Venezia of Ottumwa was charged with second-degree theft, a Class D felony.
Court records say Venezia and Clint Smith, 40, trespassed onto a train on October 6 and stole tools from two toolboxes. An officer was later able to identify Venezia and Smith who were in possession of the stolen tools on camera.
Venezia was taken to the Wapello County Jail. He is currently free after posting a $5,000 bond.
