Two bridges in Ottumwa will temporarily close this week for winter maintenance.
According to the city of Ottumwa, the Jefferson Street bridge will close on Wednesday, October 23 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The Market Street Bridge will shut down on Thursday, October 24 from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM.
The city is asking motorists to plan accordingly and allow extra time for travel on those days.
