An Ottumwa man was arrested after allegedly shoplifting from Walmart.
30-year-old Blake Cassatt was charged with 3rd degree theft – enhanced because of priors, an aggravated misdemeanor.
On September 9 at approximately 11:01 a.m, court records say Cassatt left without paying at Walmart on 1940 Venture Drive. Authorities say the merchandise totaled $126.66 and Cassatt admitted to shoplifting the items.
Court records say Cassatt has three prior convictions.
Cassatt was taken to the Wapello County Jail. His preliminary hearing was waived.
