An Oskaloosa man allegedly cut a security device on a bike rack, according to the Ottumwa Police Department.
53-year-old Stephan Craig was charged with removal of theft prevention devices, a serious misdemeanor.
On September 9 at 4:30 p.m, court records say Craig cut a security cable on a bike rack near the entrance of a business on 1110 North Quincy Avenue. Authorities say Craig had not made a purchase from the business.
Craig was transported to the Wapello County Jail. He has a $500 bond and his preliminary hearing was waived.
