(Radio Iowa)– Casey’s announced stores are rapidly expanding to Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida.
Brian Johnson, Casey’s Vice President for Investor Relations, said in a conference call with Radio Iowa that plans are being finalized for 148 Casey’s to open in Texas, and 50 in Alabama, Florida, and Mississippi.
The convenience stores will be located in small towns in between the San Antonio, Dallas, and Houston triangle. There are already 22 Casey’s in Texas. The new Florida stores will cover the Northern ‘panhandle’ area.
FIKES Wholesale owns the stores and moved the expansion deadline to the end of this year.
