A Fairfield man was arrested after allegedly sexually abusing a minor.
23-year-old Austin Porter was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child, a class B felony, two counts of dissemination/exhibition of obscene material to minors, a serious misdemeanor, two counts of 1st degree sexual abuse, a class A felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor.
On July 11, the Fairfield Police Department received a possible sexual assault report involving a minor.
On August 20, officers say during their investigation they were able to secure a warrant for Porter’s arrest and was taken into custody.
The Fairfield Police Department says the case is under investigation and no details are being released at this time.
Porter was transported to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility. He is being held without bond pending an initial court appearance.
