Daine Sharp, 69, of Norwalk, died at 2:36 p.m. August 27, 2024 at his home.
He was born August 21, 1955 in Ottumwa to Allen Bonnifield and Mary Louise Daine Sharp.
A 1973 graduate of Ottumwa High School, he later attended Simpson College. Daine worked at Al-Jon and was a member of First Presbyterian Church.
He enjoyed using his computer, playing cards, and especially loved his three cats.
Surviving are his siblings, Julie Emmons and Daniel “Danny” (Tracy) Sharp, both of Norwalk, as well as nieces and nephews, Jordan Lee Sharp, Justyn Sharp, Abigail Lynn Harbart, and Mary Alyssa Emmons.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents, Allen Wiley Sharp, Mary Alcinda Bonnifield Sharp, John Manton Daine and Dorothy Melinda Olsen Daine.
Visitation with the family present to greet friends with be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 4th at Reece Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 4th at Ottumwa Cemetery with Pastor Bill Hornback officiating.
