A Minivan crashes through a building and kills an individual during an accident in Marion County Monday afternoon.
On July 15, Iowa State patrol says 86-year-old Doris McCombs of Knoxville was driving a 2014 Town & Country Chrysler and lost control of her vehicle.
According to the accident report, McCombs accelerated into the side of a building after losing control. An individual was inside of the building and was struck by McCombs.
70-year-old Rebecca Richardson of Knoxville was transported to the Knoxville Hospital and died.
McCombs was injured and airlifted to the MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center.
The collision remains under further investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
