An Ottumwa felon faces charges after running from police.

27-year-old Dyllan Light was charged with Interference with Official Acts.

On June 13, court records said Light had multiple warrants for an arrest. According to police, Light saw the patrol car near him and he began running. The officer followed him in the patrol car but soon began on foot.

Authorities say Light fell on the ground and continued to resist his arrest when commanded to put his hands behind his back.

Light was taken to the Wapello County Jail. He is being held with bond at $20,300.
