Three were injured after a head on collision in Des Moines County Thursday afternoon.
Iowa State Patrol says 47-year-old Nicholas McGrane of Burlington was driving a 2014 Dodge Durango while travelling west on Mason Road. The driver of a 2006 Buick LaCrosse was driving east on Mason Road.
According to the accident report, McGrane’s vehicle was on a curve when it crossed the center line and hit the LaCrosse.
The 16-year-old driver of the LaCrosse was injured and transported to the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.
18-year-old Gillian Korver of Middletown was a passenger in the LaCrosse and was taken to the Southeast Iowa Regional Health Center with injuries. The occupants of the LaCrosse were wearing seat belts.
McGrane was injured and taken to the Southeast Iowa Regional Health Center. He was not wearing a seat belt.
The accident remains under investigation according to the Iowa State Patrol.
