Ottumwa, IA –In late April, Ottumwa RAGBRAI 2024’s Facebook page held an online contest for area bands to submit videos of them performing a song, in which the public was able to vote for their favorites. The Top 5 vote getters were then selected to compete with one another at the Ottumwa RAGBRAI Battle of the Bands to be held Saturday, June 1 at Bridge View Center. Of those 5, the winner and runner-up will each secure a paid performance slot on the Ottumwa RAGBRAI Main Stage July 25.
The bands performing will be Age of Oblivion (Oskaloosa), Friday at 5 (Fairfield), Hollowtree (Ottumwa), and January (Quincy, IL). All ages are welcome and admission is $5 at the door.
