The Ottumwa High School Theatre Department is proud to present its Spring production, The Prom to audiences on Saturday, April 13, and Sunday, April 14, 2024.
The Prom is based on a troupe of hilarious, self-absorbed, and down-on-their-luck Broadway stars who shake up a small Indiana town as they rally behind a teen who wants to go to the Prom with her girlfriend. It’s an inclusive story of love, acceptance, and embracing the person you were meant to be. The Prom is a smash-hit Broadway musical, and also a major motion picture on Netflix that is full of sparkle and “Zazz!”
Under the direction of Jeff Leonard, the production will deliver three performances at the Ottumwa High School Auditorium, 501 E Second Street. Show dates are Saturday, April 13, at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm; and Sunday, April 14 at 1:00 pm. Tickets are $10 for
adults, $5 for students, and may be purchased in advance online at https://www.gobound.com/ia/bound/theatre/2023-24/ottumwa/hs#next or at the door.
Please note that no cash is accepted for ticket sales on the day of the show at the door.
