The Wapello County Supervisors will accept the resignation of Wapello County Attorney Reuben Neff during Tuesday morning’s meeting.
Neff was elected as the Wapello County Attorney in 2018 and won reelection in 2022. He was previously the county’s assistant attorney.
Neff cited family reasons as to why he is stepping down. He will work at a private firm and his resignation will be effective March 29.
The Wapello County Supervisors will discuss the possible options for filling the vacancy during the Board of Supervisors meeting.
