Ottumwa, IA – Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress held their second annual Lean In Conference on March 8, 2024 at the Bridge View Center in Ottumwa on Friday, March 8, 2024. The event set a new record with over 200 in attendance.

The day commenced with opening remarks from Iowa Representative Hans Wilz of District 25. Michelle Perdue delivered the opening keynote, speaking of belonging and finding your place. The day offered several breakout sessions in a variety of topics, from leadership to imposter syndrome to taking control of your life. The day was concluded with an afternoon keynote message from Christina Moffatt, who spoke about the recipe for success.

“It was fantastic to see the women and men of Southeast Iowa come to this event to network, and find their circles,” according to Shea Greiner, Director of Investor Relations for Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress.

The event marks the celebration of International Women’s Day, which celebrates the achievements of women and striving for women’s parity.
