Areas of Southeast Iowa experienced freezing rain early Monday morning and the National Weather Service says we should expect more Monday night into Tuesday morning.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory from 8:00 PM Monday to noon Tuesday.
Forecasters anticipate a wintry mix of weather. Snow accumulations will most likely be less than an inch. Less than a tenth of an inch of ice is expected as well.
The National Weather Service says the weather could affect the Tuesday morning commute. Motorists are advised to slow down and leave plenty of room between their vehicle and the vehicle in front of them.
