In this capacity, Clawson will begin training to assume the role of CEO of Centerville Community Betterment, Inc., on January 1, 2025. Clawson served as the Human Resources and Staff Development Manager at MercyOne Centerville since 1999. In 2022, she was promoted to Director of Operations, adding those responsibilities and the hospital’s foundation to her list of roles. She was an effective servant leader at the hospital who worked to develop an engaged, service-oriented workforce.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations/Psychology and Sociology and is certified in Customer Service and Culture Training.

“We are excited to bring someone of Tonya’s caliber to our executive team, knowing that it will benefit those we serve,” Sharp added.
