Timothy Mark Anders, 64, of Ottumwa, died at 12:42 a.m. October 11, 2023 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born January 21, 1959 in Lancaster, CA to Forest “Sonny” and Anna Marie Brackney Anders. Tim married Sandra Bradley and they later divorced.
A 1978 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Tim had worked in maintenance for Area 15 Housing for 20+ years and had worked at Excel.
Tim was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. He loved the outdoors and nature, especially watching bald eagles, mushroom hunting and arrowhead hunting. He loved car rides and especially loved his kids and his dogs.
Surviving are his daughters, Alicia Anders (James Garrett) and Amanda Hull (Jeromey King); 6 grandchildren, Trae (Katie), Ryan (Madison), Eden (Shontell), Emily, Dylan and Sophia; 3 great-grandchildren, Karter, Berkleigh and Kaysen; siblings, Randy (Valerie) Anders, Debbie (Ken) McLeland, David (Wendy) Boone and William Cooper; and his dogs, Baby Girl and Stella.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-mother, Mary Violet Anders; his step-father, Charles Ware; his son, Timothy Dean Anders and his brother, Danny Anders.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, October 13th at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Frazier officiating. The family will be present to greet friends one hour prior to the service Friday.
Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
