Law enforcement is looking for a southeast Iowa man who was the subject of a high-speed chase on Wednesday.

The Mount Pleasant Police Department says officers attempted to apprehend 33-year-old David Hudnall of Mount Pleasant when officers located him in the parking lot of Casey’s on the 400 block of West Washington Street at approximately 3:50 PM. Hudnall has multiple active warrants, according to police.

Authorities say Hudnall took off in a black truck at a high rate of speed. The pursuit continued through the south side of town, however, officers terminated the pursuit after speeds exceeded 100 mph. The truck was later found abandoned on South Adams Street.

Anyone with information on Hudnall’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.
