A woman accused of making threats to multiple courthouses in southeast Iowa was arrested Thursday afternoon.
The Mahaska County Sherrif’s Office took 31-year-old Erika Jo King into custody stemming from an outstanding warrant in Wapello County. The warrant charged King with first-degree harassment and making threats of terrorism based on an incident that occurred on August 31.
King is currently in the Wapello County Jail, according to the sheriff’s office.
Additionally, King is being charged with second-degree harassment in Mahaska County. King allegedly made a phone call to the Mahaska County Clerk of Courts on August 31. After she is released from the Wapello County Jail, King will be taken to Mahaska County to answer the charge.
Last week, King was arrested by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and charged with first-degree harassment and making threats of terrorism.
