A Mount Pleasant man was arrested after police say he had plans for a sexual rendezvous with an undercover officer posing as a 15-year-old girl.
27-year-old Kyle Willey has been charged with enticing a minor under 16, a Class D felony.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department says Willey exchanged social media messages with who he thought was a 15-year-old female but was an undercover Mount Pleasant police officer. Willey made plans to meet up with the victim on September 7 to perform various sex acts.
On his way to meet the victim, Willey was arrested by law enforcement.
Willey was transported to the Henry County Jail. He is currently free after posting a $5,000 bond.
