Patrick T. Hurley, 79, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at Jefferson County Health Center in Fairfield.
Pat was born September 29, 1943, in Davenport, the son of Fredrick and Fredericka (Fahrenkrug) Hurley. He married Ruth Reichert. She preceded him in death.
Pat was an over-the-road semi-driver and worked as a part-time farmhand. He loved his cats, visiting with friends, and overhauling lawnmowers.
Those left to honor his memory include his twin sister, Patsy Labounty of Cookeville, Tennessee, and brother, Fred (Geneva) Hurley of Lisbon, Iowa; and the McTee family, Connie Bryant, Jerry McTee, and Carol Roach.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
There will be a gathering for friends on Sunday, October 8, from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at the Packwood Community Center.
