Two men were arrested after authorities say they burglarized a farm in Wapello County.
30-year-old Jeffery Brian Smith of Ottumwa has been charged with third-degree burglary and driving while barred.
63-year-old Stephen Lawrence White of Ottumwa has been charged with third-degree burglary.
The Wapello County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a farm in Agency at 8:23 AM on Tuesday. A farm structure was burglarized and after several search warrants were obtained, it was determined several items were stolen including a tractor. The investigation unveiled another burglary that occurred at a second property.
Both Smith and White were transported to the Wapello County Jail. Court records did not contain bail information as of publication.
