The closing date of the Hy-Vee on the north side of Ottumwa has been announced.
As first reported by the Ottumwa Post, the Hy-Vee located at 2453 North Court Street will close its doors on Saturday, October 14 at 6:00 PM.
In June, Hy-Vee announced it would be closing its North Ottumwa location. In a statement, the company said the South Ottumwa Hy-Vee, the Hy-Vee Drugstore, and the two Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh gas stations on the north and south sides of Ottumwa would remain open.
The North Ottumwa Hy-Vee building is owned by Agree Realty, based in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. The company owns some 1,900 properties nationwide mostly revolving around retail.
