A southeast Iowa man was arrested based on an investigation that revealed sexual abuse, according to authorities.
70-year-old Seldon James Currier has been charged with second-degree sex abuse and incest.
The Wapello County Sheriff’s Office says in February, it received information regarding alleged sexual abuse that occurred in Kirkville. An investigation was launched.
A search warrant was executed on April 27 at a residence in Kirkville. Evidence believed to be relevant to the investigation was seized and Currier was arrested.
Currier was transported to the Wapello County Jail and later released after posting a $25,000 bond.
