Linda Pearl Throgmartin, 74, of Ottumwa, died at 6:37 p.m. December 10, 2022 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
She was born March 23, 1948 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Ruben and Clara Hedrick Eastwood.
Linda had worked for Cargill/Excel and the Ottumwa Community School District. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and going to garage sales.
Surviving are her children, Sandy (Lester) Jordan, Tammy Strayer (Bob Murphy) and Terry McSparen all of Ottumwa, Travis (Crystal) Throgmartin of Indiana; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; siblings, Janice (Howard) Tubb, Carolyn Morey, Nancy (Art) Receveur, Phyllis Anderson and Steve Eastwood all of Ottumwa, Darrell (Peggy) Eastwood of Poplar Bluff, MO and Karen Koth of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Tracy Mondabough and 2 infant daughters; granddaughter, Yalith Throgmartin; siblings, Teresa Eastwood, Pamela Eastwood and Lonnie Eastwood.
Visitation will be open at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 15th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday. Cremation will follow the visitation.
Private inurnment will be in Shaul Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the family or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
