Tony Carter Clark, 68, of Urbandale passed away at his home on October 23, 2022.  Visitation will open at 2:00 PM on Friday October 28, 2022 with the family present from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, IA.  A graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 29, 2022 at Spencer Cemetery in Stockport with Pastor Nathan Chaplin officiating.  Memorials in Tony’s honor may be directed to Friends of Morris Park, Stockport Heritage Society, Stead Family Children’s Hospital, or Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad and may be left at the funeral home, cemetery or mailed to the family at 27882 107th Street, Stockport, IA 52651.

Tony was born on December 25, 1953 in Keosauqua to Eugene Morris and Ramona Maree Carter Clark.  He grew up in Stockport Iowa and was involved with all kinds of sports as a kid. During his high school years and early college days he worked at Prairie Grain and painted for T.K. Enterprises.  Tony graduated from Van Buren High School in 1972 and then went on to college at the University of Iowa from which he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  While at the University of Iowa he joined the Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity and was an active life-long member.  After graduating college, he started his career in accounting with Blue Cross Blue Shield.  He then became a partner in Pinnacle Management Midwest. From there, he started his own business, Pinnacle Management Consulting. He carried the designation CHBC (Certified Healthcare Business Consultant) and was a member of the Iowa Certified Public Accountants Association. He enjoyed attending Hawkeye football games, Cardinal baseball, and spending time at the family farm.

Left to cherish his memory are his significant other, Kathryn Hempel of Urbandale, Kathryn’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild; three sisters, Dena Clark of Stockport, Tammy Clark of Tetonia, ID and Madge Clark of Stockport; two uncles, Richard Carter of Indianola and Robert Carter of Ann Arbor, MI; a nephew, Eric Bradfield of Fairfield and many other family members and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.
